The Best Paper Trimmer for Crafters

It’s a weird thing to say but it’s true…when it comes to crafting, there is a PERFECT paper trimmer and I’ve found it!

If you’re a YayDay subscriber, this tool is a MUST HAVE! It makes quick work of our greeting card and journaling card prints.

The Fiskars SureCut Trimmer is the BEST! Here’s why:

  • It comes in two sizes – 12″ and 9″ so you can decide which works best for you.
  • There is a thin wire that runs along the cutting track where you can easily see EXACTLY where you’re going to cut.
  • Not only can you cut – but this trimmer also has a scoring blade available so you can cut and score on the same tool. The scoring blade is sold separately.
  • It’s lightweight and easy to move around your work space.

There are tons of cutting tools out there, and I’ve tried them ALL! This one is definitely the best!

  1. I have a Fiskars which I love, but, not one of those. I’ve had it about 5 years and love it. It’s a great brand.

  2. I have to say that my favorite trimmer is the We R Memory Keepers All In One. I absolutely love it

  3. I ended up getting a Cricut one (I can’t recall if I purchased it separately, or if it was part of a bundle), and it isn’t bad. What’s the difference between the two?

  4. I totally agree, I’ve tried so many others, but this is still my favorite one! I think it’s that wire!

  5. I have the smaller one of the two. It doesn’t cut straight, unfortunately. I’ve heard a lot of people in my craft group say the same thing. I think we see Fiskars and just assume great quality.
